Our guerrilla version of a business card, handed out to hundreds at SXSW. We wax sealed each one by hand in our hotel room with a candle and a lot of patience.

The Inside

It was my agency's first year in business and we were headed to SXSW to learn and network. Having been there before, I knew that you amassed several hundred business cards and that many of them never made it home. And most of them were forgettable. I wanted something that would definitely stand out and maybe be cool enough that people would remember and look to call once the conference was over. This was very brand-on for us, it evoked curiosity and it stood out in a very digital and tech-heavy conference setting.

 

THIS LANDED US SEVERAL CALLS, MEETINGS AND COMMENTS. INCLUDING A SKYPE SESSION WITH A TOP EXECUTIVE AT ZAPPOS FOR THEIR NONPROFIT, "GIVING HAPPINESS". BECAUSE HE SAID "IT WAS THE ONLY ONE I REMEMBERED".
